Chelsea are through to the 2021/22 FA Cup final.

Thomas Tuchel's side booked another date at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Second half goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount were enough for a semi-final victory in the London sunshine.

Chelsea will take on Liverpool in the FA Cup final, which is a repeat of the League Cup final earlier in the year.

The Blues will be out for revenge after losing that match on penalties.

Chelsea were certainly deserving of victory in their semi-final versus Palace. They had 66% of the possession and created far more chances.

Overall, it was a very solid performance by the current European champions.

There was also a moment during the game in which Antonio Rudiger lived up to his reputation as one of the world's most entertaining defenders.

The German centre-back is renowned for dribbling forward like a bit of a maniac and attempting shots from distance.

And it seems Rudiger also backs himself to pass the ball like the best in the business.

Against Palace, the former AS Roma man tried to pull off a Luka Modric-esque pass with the outside of his boot.

It didn't go to plan, though...

Rudiger clearly thought he could mimic Modric's stunning assist for Rodrygo Goes against Chelsea, only to find out that it's far harder than it looks.

Better luck next time, Toni.

There's a chance Rudiger and Modric could be teammates next season, as ESPN have reported that Real Madrid are now looking at signing the defender on a free transfer in the summer.

That would be some coup for Los Blancos, as Rudiger, David Alaba and Eder Militao as centre-back options to pick from is pretty darn tasty.

As for Chelsea, the loss of Rudiger would be a tough pill to swallow, because he's been key to the club's success under Tuchel.

Of course, there's still a chance he'll be playing his football at Stamford Bridge next season.
