Cody Rhodes has revealed, in a recent interview, that his anger towards WWE COO Triple H still very much "remains".

Over the last few years, through what he was saying in media appearances and in his work with AEW, fans believed that Cody Rhodes really wasn't a fan of Triple H.

However, that couldn't be further from the truth, as in interviews since returning to WWE, Cody has explained that 'The Game' is actually his favourite wrestler.

In fact, Cody spoke about the emotional interaction he had with the multi-time WWE Champion just before he wrestled Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38 earlier this month.

Despite this, Cody has explained that he still feels some anger towards Triple H, especially when thinking about how he was used by the company during his first run.

Rhodes left WWE in 2016, not happy with how he was being used, and Cody said that he still channels that anger, particularly towards Triple H, with how he performs now.

I was very, very angry. That anger remains as far as how we saw each other, how he saw me and what I wanted to do. I wanted to channel that anger differently. It was a really touching moment. I didn’t tell anybody what he said, and I won’t. But it was a touching moment.”

As noted, Cody returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 this month, going one-on-one with former WWE Champion Seth Rollins.

The pair have continued their story on the episodes of Monday Night Raw that have followed, and a rematch has been set for next month.

The talented duo will be going one-on-one for the second time at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8, in one of two WrestleMania rematches on the show.
