It seems that Aljamain Sterling has been enjoying himself after reclaiming his championship at UFC 273. The bantamweight champ took to social media to show that he has put on three stone, only ten days after defeating Petr Yan. Sterling looked absolutely shredded on the scales when he weighed in at 134.5lbs for his rematch with Petr Yan. He looked to be in the shape of his life as he pulled off a backs-to-the-wall split decision victory, to unify the belt and become the undisputed bantamweight champ. His six-pack abs didn’t hang around for long though! Quite clearly enjoying the fruits of his labour, Funk Master has ballooned to a whopping 176lbs only 10 days after his scrap with the Russian former champ. The New York native shared his drastic weight gain with his Instagram followers, posting a video that shows his three stone weight increase. Diet starts tomorrow."He uploaded the same footage to his Twitter, where he said: “That’s a sick, sick, man! Exactly 1 week after my fight. Wow…”

“Look at this bantamweight,” Sterling wrote on social media. Funk Master is unable to keep himself below the welterweight limit.

Despite his indulgence, Aljo took to Instagram to show that he has cut an impressive 12 pounds, now weighing in at 164lbs.

"Alright, guys didn't believe my weight, I was 176, but my weight is now firmly back under control.”

There is no word yet on Sterling’s next opponent. A trilogy with bitter rival Petr Yan is on the cards, along with a title defence against “slimy little cheater” TJ Dillashaw.

Before Aljo returns to the octagon, he has some work to do in order to return to his former shredded self. It’s fair to say that Chunk Master is in full effect.
