The Spaniard had an eventful night as the Blues lost 4-2.
Chelsea’s captain notched Chelsea’s second goal of the night to make it 2-2 in the 32nd minute.
He went on to give away a penalty in stoppage-time as he dragged down Bukayo Saka inside the box.
Azpilicueta was furious and confronted Saka, before having words with Gabriel.
Saka went on to convert the penalty and Chelsea’s defeat was confirmed.
Following the final whistle, Azpilicueta had a fiery confrontation with a Chelsea supporter.
The 32-year-old appeared to be heckled by a Chelsea fan.
Azpilicueta was not happy and went over to the stands to confront him.
The two exchanged words for a few seconds before Azpilicueta left the scene. The fan had his thumbs up as Chelsea’s captain walked away.

Wow. It’s not known what either party was saying but it’s fair to say it wasn’t too pleasant.
Thomas Tuchel was asked about the incident after the game.
He said, per football-london: “I was not part of it. I saw it, but honestly, I can understand the fan.”

They are now five points clear of Tottenham and Arsenal in fourth and fifth respectively.
