At WrestleMania 38 Stone Cold Steve Austin returned to a WWE for the first time in nineteen years, but he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of doing it again at next year’s WrestleMania

The WWE Hall of Famer headlined WrestleMania Saturday earlier this month, beating Kevin Owens, and then appeared the following night to hit Stunners on Austin Thoery, Pat McAfee and Vince McMahon.

Speaking on the Brewbound Podcast, Austin stated that never say never when it comes to WrestleMania 39 and admitted if Vince McMahon gives him a call, he’ll be in California next April.

Well, for me to participate in WrestleMania 38, if you would’ve told me, ‘Hey man, you’re gonna be a part of WrestleMania 38. Not only that, you’re gonna main event night one,’ I would’ve said you’re full of s**t and you’re crazy, but there I was in Dallas, Texas, headlining main event on day one so, never say ‘never.I would really imagine that within the scope of that show, that’s gonna be a big show in a big time city and it’ll be a two-night event again so, I’m not — I’m sure I’m done wrestling per se, but as a part of WWE, I can’t imagine I would not be there in some capacity and I’m not booking myself on the show because I didn’t book myself on 38. That’s a Vince (McMahon) thing and I have a great relationship with him and if I get the call, I’ll be there.

Austin’s main event bout with Owens was one of the highlights of WrestleMania weekend and far exceeded what fans expected to see from The Rattlesnake in a segment that was originally only billed as a talk show spot with KO.

WrestleMania 39 will take place on April 1st and 2nd 2023, from the SoFi Stadium in California as WrestleMania ‘goes Hollywood’ for the event in LA.
