In the main event of WWE WrestleMania 38 night two, Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to become the Unified WWE Universal Champion.

However, rumours suggested that the match didn't end as planned, with some thinking that Reigns had sustained an injury.

The 36-year-old's arm, as can be seen by clicking here, looking quite noticeably swollen, so fans speculated that he may have been hurt.

In fact, towards the end of the match, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Lesnar subtly checked on Reigns, fueling the injury rumours, which you can also read more about by clicking here.

Despite not wrestling on TV since then, Reigns has worked a couple of matches at non-televised WWE live event, so it does seem like he's okay.

Adding to that, despite having no obvious direction for the show, reports state that Reigns will be on the card for WrestleMania Backlash next month.

Not just that, but Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio reports that the plan is for Roman to main event the big show on May 8.

[Roman Reigns] is in fact in the main event, and I presume they’ll shoot the angle on Friday, I don’t know that as a fact, but he is in the main event on the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view.”

As of right now, there is no word on who WWE is planning on having Reigns wrestle at the show, presumably in a title match.

The likely candidate is Shinsuke Nakamura, who Reigns attacked on Friday Night SmackDown just shy of two weeks ago, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Also announced for the show is The Usos v RK-Bro, as WWE looks to unify the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
