Everton duo Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison will 'command a decent transfer fee' despite their Goodison Park struggles this season, according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown.

The Toffees currently find themselves embroiled in a relegation battle, meaning there are doubts as to whether Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison will still be on Merseyside come the start of next season.

What's the latest news involving Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison?

According to The Sun, Everton are willing to cash-in on Calvert-Lewin when the transfer window reopens for business in the summer.

The development has put Premier League rivals Arsenal and West Ham United on red alert as they are interested in luring the striker, who is valued at £25million by the CIES Football Observatory, to London.

Although the Toffees are understood to be open to Calvert-Lewin's departure, his £72,000-per-week contract has more than three years remaining, meaning Everton are in a strong negotiating position.

Meanwhile, it is understood that Richarlison is eager to secure a move away from Goodison Park as he wants to give himself the best possible chance of earning a spot in Brazil's squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar and Arsenal are long-term admirers.

Manchester United and Real Madrid have reportedly contacted Everton over the possibility of signing the 24-year-old, whose £110,000-per-week deal expires in the summer of 2024.

What has Paul Brown said about the duo?

Brown believes Everton will still be able to secure a huge windfall if they look to sell Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison during the summer even though they have both struggled to hit the heights of previous seasons.

The journalist feels boss Frank Lampard and those working behind the scenes at Finch Farm would prefer Richarlison to move on than Calvert-Lewin.

Brown told GIVEMESPORT: "Neither of them have played very well this season, but everyone knows they would command a decent transfer fee regardless.

"I suspect, out of the two, they would rather keep Calvert-Lewin, but it might be out of their hands. It might depend on what offers they get for either one."

Would their departures come as a blow?

Calvert-Lewin may have struggled for goals since the season got underway, but injuries have restricted the amount of time he has spent on the pitch.

Since heading to Goodison Park, the 25-year-old has racked up close to 60 goals, underlining that he has been a serious goal threat over the years.

Richarlison, who is valued at £42million by the CIES Football Observatory, got his name on the scoresheet for the 50th time in an Everton shirt when his late strike deflected home against Leicester City last week.
