The infamous Randy Orton has hit a very impressive landmark recently by reaching 20 years as a professional wrestler in the WWE.

The wrestling world have been paying tribute to Orton and the WWE is also celebrating #Ortonweek. Fans have shared numerous posts across social media, but the posts from fellow stars have hit the headlines.

WWE legends have been out in full force to congratulate The Viper on successfully being in the game for 20 years, most notably John Cena and one half of D-Generation X Triple H.

Both Triple H and John Cena have publicly tweeted their gratitude and admiration towards Orton for his success year after year and have especially made reference to the longevity of his career.

Although they were rivals in the game, John Cena’s emotional tweet has moved thousands of fans online as The Leader of the Cenation admired Orton's growth, not only as a wrestler, but as a human being.

“However my real love & admiration for him is in his maturity & progress as a human being. Right here’s to RKO!”

Despite The Game and The Viper sharing a long, but not always loving history, after Triple H kicked Orton out of the legendary stable Evolution, the former congratulated the latter on his lengthy time in the industry.

"Only a few actually make it to the very, very top of @WWE , almost no one can do it for 20 years. I’ve had the honor of watching @RandyOrton do just that; and become the star, the performer, the leader, the man and the father I always knew he would. Congrats on 20 years, Randy!"

The Game has most recently retired from competing at WrestleMania 38 following his recovery from a cardiac event. He, however, still wished his former ‘pupil’ continued success.

The mutual respect for each other’s accomplishments is a quality that all fans should aspire to and enjoy despite rivalries often getting in the way.
