Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey are set for a SmackDown Women's Championship rematch at WrestleMania Backlash.

The Queen will defend her WWE title against her long-standing rival next month in a brutal "I Quit" clash.

The papers are signed and the match is locked in, but of course, there was nothing smooth about the official contract signing on Friday night.

Adam Pearce was present to officiate the signing, alongside former WWE Cruiserweight and 24/7 champion Drew Gulak, who has taken on a new role away from the ring as part of the SmackDown broadcast team.

After Charlotte penned her signature, things got heated between her and Rousey. The Baddest Woman on the Planet promised to humiliate her opponent at WrestleMania backlash, where anything goes and nothing is off the cards.

The two previously met at the main WrestleMania event, and while Charlotte may have officially retained her title, the WWE Universe hasn't forgotten she had tapped out to Rousey's armbar just moments earlier but got away with it because the referee was knocked out at the time.

Rowdy picked up the pen ready to finalise their rematch but Flair tipped the contract table and attacked the UFC Hall of Famer with a hidden kendo stick.

Rousey managed to counterattack The Queen and started to brutally hit her with the stick before Gulak waded in to diffuse the situation.

But Pearce's assistant in training seemingly only made matters worse and he found himself on the receiving and of a Rowdy attack.

Rousey hoisted Gulak onto her shoulders and slammed him against the canvas before locking him in an armbar and demanding a pen so she could sign the title match contract. All the while using him as a very convenient footrest.

A squirming Gulak obliged and could only wait until the former Raw Women's Champion released him from her grip.

The match for the SmackDown Women's Championship is now locked in and Flair will once again put her title on the line against her old foe. WrestleMania Backlash will stream live on Sunday, May 8th.
