After beating Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium tonight, Tyson Fury could be heading to WWE.

WWE is set to put on its first UK big pay-per-view stadium show since 1992 in Cardiff later this year, with the show set for the Principality Stadium in September.

Speaking to GiveMeSport after his huge knockout win, Fury said that fans shouldn’t rule him out of fighting at the big show this summer.

f I’d love to be at Cardiff. I’d love to be back in the centre stage of the UK

Fury suggested that he could be in WWE even sooner, telling GiveMeSport’s Tom Ward that he could be involved at SummerSlam in July.

You might see me at SummerSlam coming up soon. I’ve got to speak to Vince [McMahon] and the boys. Maybe make this happen

With regards to potential opponents, Fury brought up Drew McIntyre, who has spoken about wanting to face ‘The Gypsy King’ for some time now:

I know Drew McIntyre has been saying a lot of things about me. I have to knock him out

Fury ended by saying he’s “definitely” going to be in contact with WWE officials to make a return happen.

A match between McIntyre and Fury is heavily rumoured for the big Cardiff show, and now that Fury is done with boxing, a WWE return and UK v UK showdown could happen.
