Update 5th August: Joe Joyce has compared himself to George Foreman ahead of his fight with Joseph Parker.

Joe Joyce faces his toughest fight yet in former world champion Joseph Parker.


Update 4th August: We are over the moon to hear that the official fight date for the Joyce vs Parker bout has been announced. The two will be meeting in the ring on Saturday 24th September 2022.


Update 9th June: Promoter Frank Warren has revealed why the fight has been delayed as he said: "There was a problem and that is that Joe Parker can’t fight because his trainer Andy Lee’s wife has a baby due apparently on the week of the fight, so he can’t train.

“We’ve had to push it back now to September, but in the meantime, Joe [Joyce] is gonna be out. So we’re looking at a couple of opponents for him"


Update 20th May: It is being reported by Stuff that the date of the fight could be changed due to a deal not being agreed upon yet.

Frank Warren himself said during the Fury vs Whyte broadcast that he is hoping to get this over the line for July 2022 and the boxing promoter was right had confirmed that the two heavyweights will be meeting on Saturday 2nd July 2022. This was revealed by Joe Joyce and reported by Michael Benson.

The fight has now been delayed and looks to be taking place in September 2022 as promoter Frank Warren revealed that they have: "had to push it back now to September".

We are over the moon to hear that the official fight date for the Joyce vs Parker bout has been announced. The two will be meeting in the ring on Saturday 24th September 2022.


Venue

Joyce had revealed that the two will be fighting at Wembley Arena in London, England; however, this was before the fight was postponed. It has now been revealed that the fight will be taking place in Manchester, England.
