On this day in 2002 (April 25), Randy Orton made his first appearance on WWE TV.With the exception of a couple of layoffs through injury, Orton has pretty much been a regular on WWE TV for two decades now.The former WWE Champion is one of wrestling's most decorated ever stars, and the wrestling world has come together to congratulate Orton on his milestone.Taking to Twitter over the last few days, two of Orton's biggest rivals, John Cena and Triple H, posted heartfelt messages to the 42-year-old, which you can read more about by clicking here.

As can be seen above, Orton has now responded to Cena, posting an image of several of the huge PPV matches the pair in WWE.

Orton said that he "appreciated" the words from Cena, but his response to Triple H's tweet was a lot more heartwarming.

Randy thanked Triple H for having "patience" with him during the early days of his WWE career, also thanking 'The Game' for not giving up on him.

Orton said that he couldn't have had a better mentor than Triple H, and noted that everyone who works with Hunter in wrestling is better off for it.

There's no denying that when his days as a wrestler are up, Orton is going to go down as one of the best to ever step inside the ring.

In fact, several Hall of Famers have gone on record to say that Orton is the "perfect" wrestler, which is a true testament to his natural ability.

It doesn't seem like Orton is even considering retirement though, as he recently suggested that he's still got several more decades in him, so expect to see RKOs for many more years to come.

Randy's illustrious career is set to be celebrated on WWE Raw tonight, which you can watch live here in the UK on BT Sport.
