Charlotte Flair could eclipse her father by wrestling male competitors, according to two WWE Hall of Famers.

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte was involved in an angle with Drew Gulak, where she put the former Cruiserweight champion in the Figure Eight submission lock and forced him to tap out.

Talking about the segment on  Busted Open Radio former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry, now with AEW, and multi-time tag team champ Bully Ray both agreed that mixing it up with WWE’s male roster is something Charlotte should do on a regular basis. Even to go as far as to saying it could lead to her eclipsing her famous father’s legacy.

She has the potential to eclipse Ric if she’s allowed to wrestle men and have a run doing that and then going back to women’s wrestling and being the ultimate heel, like, ‘I left y’all because y’all beneath me.’ That can be, you know, another 10 years of her dominance that can make people only think that when you hear the name ‘Flair’ that you think Charlotte.

As part of The Dudley Boyz, Bully was no stranger to intergender combat, famously putting several WWE’s female stars through tables during the height of the Attitude Era. And he’d like to see Flair slap on her signature move on as many men as possible.

I love the fact that she put the Figure Eight on a man last night. I want Charlotte to wrestle men. As the matter of fact moving into this match, you know, put the Figure Eight on two more guys, three more guys, have guys tapping out left and right.

Flair’s attack on Drew was followed up by Ronda Rousey taking out her own frustration on Gulak on last Friday’s SmackDown and the pair are set to clash in a match for Charlotte’s SmackDown Women’s Championship. The rematch from WrestleMania takes place at WrestleMania Backlash and two stars will compete in an I Quit match.
