Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has suggested that Anthony Joshua wouldn’t swap his professional resume with Tyson Fury.

This post comes just two days after Fury retained his WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles against Dillian Whyte.

The Gypsy King knocked Whyte out in the sixth round with a superb uppercut in front of a record-breaking 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

Responding to a fan's question on Instagram about whether Joshua would swap with Fury, Hearn said: “Fury key wins – Klitschko, Wilder, Whyte, Chisora… Wallin?

“AJ key wins – Klitschko, Whyte, Parker, Povetkin, Ruiz, Pulev.”

Whilst Hearn, who is Joshua’s promoter, didn’t outright say AJ has the better resume, he massively hinted towards it by pointing out that Joshua has more big wins under his belt.

The one key name that is missing from Joshua’s resume that Fury has beaten is Deontay Wilder.

After drawing in their first fight back in 2018, the Brit has twice knocked out Wilder to hand the American the only two losses in his career.

His victory at Wembley meant that Fury maintained his undefeated professional record of 32 victories, with his only blemish being that controversial draw with Wilder.

In comparison, Joshua’s record stands at 24 wins and two losses, with those coming against Andy Ruiz Jr and Oleksandr Usyk.

The Olympic gold medalist was able to avenge his shock defeat to Ruiz Jr and reclaim his titles before losing them again to Usyk in September 2021.

Joshua looks set to receive a rematch against the Ukrainian this summer as he looks to get his hands back on the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles.

Whilst the Watford-native is still focusing on his in-ring career, Fury vowed to retire from fighting in the aftermath of his triumph at Wembley.

If he does step away from the squared circle it will leave boxing fans forever wondering who was truly the best, Fury or Joshua?
