And now Sturridge himself has joined in on the fun.

“There’s never a wrong time to drop this move,” the former England international said on his Instagram story, tagging in Keita.

Fair play, Daniel.

What happened to Daniel Sturridge?

Liverpool fans will always have a soft spot for Sturridge, who was sensational during his first one-and-a-half seasons at Anfield following his move from Chelsea in 2013.

He scored 24 goals in 33 appearances during his first full campaign with the Merseyside outfit and was unfortunate to miss out on a Premier League winners’ medal that season.

The attacking triumvirate that he was part of, alongside Luis Suarez and a young Raheem Sterling, had Liverpool fans on the edge of their seats throughout 2013-14.

Sadly, though, injuries hindered Sturridge’s career and prevented him from becoming a Premier League great.

Now 32, Sturridge currently plies his trade with Australian side Perth Glory but will always hold fond memories from his spell at Liverpool.
