The Champions League semi-finals are here and Liverpool are facing Villarreal in the last four of the competition that now has the remaining teams believing they can lift the trophy.

Villarreal performed a big shock in the semi-final as they managed to overcome Bayern Munich thanks to a last minute goal at the Allianz Arena, whilst Liverpool beat Benfica.

With Europe approaching the final stages of the 2021/22 season, a lot is at stake, and whilst many will expect Liverpool to win, they should not underestimate the La Liga side.

Villarreal will be without former Reds defender Alberto Moreno and striker Gerard Moreno for one of the biggest games in the clubs history.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will have a practically fully fit squad to choose from. The only worry is Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian has a minor knock so might not be risked.
