In most cases, Scholes' somewhat errant pass would've been the undoing of the forward, but not Berbatov.

He simply stretched out a leg, plucked the ball out of thin air, and continued on as if he hadn't just produced one of the greatest first touches of all time.

With Luis Diaz recently taking the plaudits for a naughty piece of control vs Everton, it can be argued that Berbatov's touch is even beter.
