Cody Rhodes reunited with Randy Orton on WWE Raw last night, and if we're being honest, it was rather quite emotional.

Monday Night Raw opened up this week with a segment celebrating Orton's career, given the show took place 20 years on from his WWE debut.

The segment was hosted by Riddle, and he brought out Cody Rhodes, Randy's former ally, as a surprise for his RK-Bro partner.

What took place next was an emotional interaction between Orton and Rhodes, with the pair embracing for a hug, their first interaction on TV in several years.

Orton and Rhodes then teamed together later on in the show, being joined by Ezekiel and Riddle to take on The Usos, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.

This was the first time that Rhodes and Orton had teamed together on TV since 2010, making for quite the fitting little moment between the two.

For those that don't know, Orton led the Legacy faction between 2008 and 2010, being flanked by Ted DiBiase and the aforementioned Rhodes.

The love between Orton and Rhodes going beyond the screen, it seems, as Cody sent a touching message to his former ally last night.

Taking to Instagram, Rhodes spoke about how Orton "took him under his wing" during his early days in WWE, referencing their time in legacy together.

As can be seen below, Cody spoke about how the former WWE Champion's passion for wrestling, describing it as "loud and proud".
