Liverpool's unprecedented quadruple charge remains very much alive as we head into the final weeks of a pulsating season.

With the Carabao Cup already nestling neatly on the mantle piece, just a mere point between them and Manchester City in the Premier League and a FA Cup final to look forward, it really is an exciting time to be red.

On top of all that, they have a Champions League semi-final to contend with surprise package Villarreal as they look to book a spot in the Paris final.

It has been a remarkable season for Jurgen Klopp and his merry men, especially when you consider how massive a disappointment the previous campaign was.

This time around, however, their best payers are fit, their squad depth is the envy of managers all over the world and their forwards are firing on all cylinders.

The addition of Luis Diaz in January was an absolute masterstroke with the Columbian taking to the Premier League with frightful ease.

In the midfield, Thiago is showing why he was widely considered one of the best midfielders in the world before his move to Anfield while the colossus that is Virgil van Dijk continues to marshal the defence brilliantly.

And behind them all stands the ever reliable Alisson Becker, who has looked well and truly back to his best this season.

The Brazilian stopper struggled with injury throughout the last campaign, leading to nervous, edgy performances that ultimately cost Liverpool dearly.

However, he has been a man reborn of late, imperious and bold in his determination to keep a clean sheet.

The man is a difficult nut to crack and that is no better exemplified than when he is engaged in one vs one situations.

Statistics revealed yesterday that Alisson is streaks ahead of his opposite numbers when it comes to defending those situations and now we have the footage to prove just how good he is.

In the clip below, you see Alisson pulling off some truly remarkable saves to smother bona-fide goalscoring opportunities before they even have the chance to breathe.

Brilliant - he just always seems to be one step ahead of the attacker.

It's no wonder the man is such a loved figure on the Kop, especially after his mockery of Jordan Pickford in the Merseyside Derby.

If Liverpool are to change the course of history and clinch that quadruple, then Alisson is going to have a big part to play.
