Cristiano Ronaldo is, understandably, not thought of very highly at Barcelona and among the club's fans.

After all, Ronaldo spent nine years at Barcelona's fierce rivals, Real Madrid.

However, that didn't stop one of their youth players doing their best Ronaldo impression after scoring a stunner.

Barcelona's U19s were in action against Cornella on Sunday.

Cornella took the lead but Barca's youngsters restored parity when Fermin Lopez, 18, scored a brilliant overhead kick just after the half-hour mark.

Lopez was ecstatic and ran to the corner to celebrate.

Barcelona have been accused of 'censoring' a La Masia youngster's Cristiano Ronaldo celebration

The youngster then channeled his inner Ronaldo and did the Portuguese's famous 'Siuuu' celebration.

The game was shown on Barcelona TV and Lopez's full celebration was shown.

The goal was so special that Barcelona decided to repost it on their social media channels.

However, they decided to edit the video to cut out Ronaldo's celebration.

Marca have suggested they 'censored' Lopez's imitation of Ronaldo and decided to act as if it had never happened.

Many Ronaldo fans picked up on Barcelona's post and accused them of deliberately cutting Lopez's celebration.

Whether Lopez decides to imitate Ronaldo's celebration again in the future remains to be seen.

The Portuguese has performed his celebration many times this campaign having hit the back of the net 22 times for United in the 2021/22 campaign.

Ronaldo started doing his 'Siuuu' celebration back in 2013 after scoring in a pre-season friendly against Chelsea.

“Well, I was in the US and we played against Chelsea and I don't know where it came from. I just scored and I went, 'sii!' But it was natural, to be honest," he said in 2019, per the Mirror.

"After that, I started doing it and I feel like the fans, when they see me they're like 'sii' and I was like, 'wow, people remember Cristiano because of the sii,' so I continued like that."
