Footage of Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has emerged during their offseason program, and he is certainly looking in good shape.

Having been picked with the number one pick in the 2017 draft, Myles Garrett has certainly been worthy of his selection as he has helped bring the Cleveland Browns into prominence, in a good way.

The 26-year-old has racked up 59.5 sacks across the regular and postseason, to go along with 206 total tackles and 118 quarterback hits that make him one of the more feared edge rushers in the NFL today.

And when you take a look at his body, it’s easy to see why he’s able to dominate opposing offensive linemen the way he has been.

Putting in the work

The Cleveland Browns released footage of members of the team putting in some work during offseason programs, building up their muscles in the gym as well as some on-field exercise ahead of the season.

However Garrett decided to do things a little differently, doing the whole thing with his shirt off allowing everyone to see what he’s got underneath his shirt:

And if he looks like that right now, you can only imagine what he’s going to look like come the end of training camp and into the preseason, so quarterbacks are likely to be more scared than ever.

How does he do it?

Whilst physical exercise obviously plays a big part in getting the way he is, you don’t get to the size that he does without consuming a lot of food in the process.

And as he explained in an interview with ESPN back in 2019, it takes a lot to keep him satisfied, with ribs seemingly being a particular favourite:

On an off day it's time to get fat so, we go get three French toast and we'll go get some omelet, A real man's omelet, and some fruit. For dinner, we're going to get some steak and ribs. Timber Lodge. It's the best ribs you'll have. That's a promise. I can eat three racks and still eat more dinner. If I got practice the next day, I'm going to cool it, eat two racks. That might be my dinner with a side of vegetables.

But if I don't have anything the next day, I can eat three racks, eat a Tomahawk steak with some mashed potatoes and a couple broccoli. I'll drink a couple glasses of water for lunch. Honestly, I just need two big meals.

It kind of makes you wonder just how much time he has for all his football activities given how much time he seems to spend eating.

Perhaps a role in Man v Food could be in his future once his playing days are over.
