Fortnite deploy Laser Target Designators

“Deploy Laser Target Designators” is the last Week 6 Resistance quest in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 and here’s how you can complete it.

Week 6 has started and with every passing week, we are learning more about how the Seven are planning to take on the IO. From collecting compromised Intel to recovering data drives, players have been through it all.

Now, with Week 6 of Resistance quests being live Fortnite players are getting tasked with several new challenges. One of the Week 6 Resistance quests asks players to deploy laser target designators, which will help players in locking down on IO targets and give them an advantage in the war against the IO.

Here’s how you can deploy Laser Target designators in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: How to deploy Laser Target Designators

For this quest, you have been asked to deploy three of these at specific locations scattered across the island. What you are looking for is holograms that are in the shape of a designator. Here’s where you need to go:

  • Target Designator 1: The first designator needs to be deployed near the bridge between Command Cavern and Logjam Lumberyard. The device is on the hill which overlooks the Command Cavern entrance.
  • Target Designator 2: For the second laser designator, you will need to go south of the Fortress POI. It will be placed close to the parked RVs.
  • Target Designator 3: For the last designator, you will have to go to the right side of Loot Lake. North of this river, the designator’s hologram is located close to a small brick building on top of the hill.

Once you deploy all three devices, the challenge will be completed and you will be rewarded with 23,000 XP. Fortnite Update 20.30 will also be dropping pretty soon, which will see the addition of more content possible map changes as well as new quests.

Both IO and the Seven look determined to take this war to the end and it seems like one will have to go for the other to stay. However, with Epic Games in the driving seat, nothing can be said for sure.
