UFC star Paddy Pimblett believes he’d be able to submit Logan Paul ‘quite easily’ if the two ever fought in mixed martial arts.

While it’s been gradual thus far, the rise of Paddy Pimblett in the UFC is hard to ignore. The man known as ‘The Baddy’ has the ability to get people invested in what he’s doing more so than most newcomers on the global stage, and the scary thing is that he’s only just getting started.

The 27-year-old has been drawing the eyes of fans across the globe and recently, he’s even grabbed the attention of YouTuber Logan Paul.

Paul, who has competed in pro boxing in addition to having a stint in WWE, suggested in an interview a few weeks back that Paddy is the kind of fighter he’d want to take on if he was to ever have a UFC fight.

In an interview with The Schmo, Pimblett explained why he’s pretty confident about his chances in that match-up.

“He knows who the boy is don’t he? He knows we’ll put bums on seats lad. I can’t see him mentioning anybody else. I know he’s a lot bigger than me like but I don’t think it really matters, to be honest. I think I’d submit him quite easily and quite quickly,” Pimblett said.

“You never know, anything can happen in a fight, but if Logan Paul ever does want the fight lad, I’m open to hearing what numbers he’s coming at us with.”

Paddy’s UFC journey (so far)

After making the move over from Cage Warriors, Paddy Pimblett got to work in a big way last September with a debut KO over Luigi Vendramini.

Then, as part of the UFC’s return to London, he overcame some early adversity to submit Kazula Vargas and send the O2 Arena into an absolute frenzy.

The promotion looks set to return to the UK on July 23 and with Pimblett telling The Schmo that his diet is now underway, we’d say it won’t be long before we get some kind of announcement regarding his next outing.

Logan Paul, meanwhile, may have some unfinished business with The Miz this summer.
