Wolves manager Bruno Lage wants to bring in a new striker this summer, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.
The Midlands club have struggled for goals this term, which could ultimately cost them a top-seven finish and a place in Europe.

Wolves have been linked with Valencia's Goncalo Guedes, as well as teenage prospect Hugo Ekitike. The duo have impressed at Valencia and Stade Reims, respectively, this season.
Another forward they could potentially make a move for is Brentford's Ivan Toney. Wolves tried to sign the £31.5m-rated attacker back in 2014, but the deal fell through when he failed a medical.
The Bees front man has taken to the Premier League quickly this year, and could be an option for Wolves, although his price-tag could be an issue for the club.

What has O'Rourke said about Wolves' pursuit of a striker?
O'Rourke has confirmed that Wolves are looking to sign a centre forward, and has suggested Toney could be a good addition to Lage's squad, having shown that he belongs in the Premier League this season.
He told GIVEMESPORT: “Wolves are very much in the market for a new striker this summer. It’s a key position for Bruno Lage, and if he wants to sign someone like Toney – he’s ready-made for the Premier League.
“He knows what it’s all about, it wouldn’t be a gamble for him. And I think Ivan Toney’s really proved himself to be a good enough player to play in the Premier League, when a lot of people maybe doubted that when he was signed by Brentford in the first place from Peterborough.”
Is Toney the player to solve Wolves' goalscoring issues?
No player has scored more than six goals across all competitions for Wolves this season. That is a concerning statistic for a side that is looking to get back into Europe.
Defensively, the side have been outstanding, with the likes of Jose Sa, Conor Coady and Max Kilman all having fine campaigns.
Yet Wolves have had major problems with putting the ball in the net, and they need to fix this issues if they are going to kick on again next year.
Toney has proven that he can score and create goals in the Premier League this season.
He has arguably been Brentford's standout performer this season, and looks to be ready to play for a side that is challenging higher up the table, so a move to Wolves could be ideal for him.
