Roy Keane questioned Marcus Rashford for laughing in the warm-up ahead of Manchester United's Premier League fixture against Chelsea.

Manchester United faced Chelsea on Thursday night as they looked to bounce back from three defeats in their previous four Premier League matches.

United have lost to Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal to leave their season in tatters. It will be another trophyless campaign for the Red Devils while their hopes of finishing in the top-four are now over.

Whether they will be playing Europa League football, Europa Conference League football or no European football at all next season is the only question left to answer.

Ahead of the game, Keane was asked about Rashford who has struggled for form this season. Just as he was speaking about the forward, cameras caught him laughing during the warm-up. It was the worst thing he could have done...

"I'm really frustrated with him," said Keane.

"Every time I see Marcus warming up, he's always smiling.

"I don't like players who smile too much. You smile when you score or do something.

"And what we always used to say about Rashford when he first burst on the scene, was that he affects games.

"He doesn't affect games anymore, he does very little.

"In his performance last week against Arsenal, he played like a child, an immature kid. He's always smiling in the warm-up, but I go back to it, you're going to war when you play."

There was a real flat feeling ahead of the match against Chelsea.

You got the impression that nobody associated with Manchester United really wanted to be there.

Due to a protest against the Glazer ownership, thousands of United fans weren't actually inside the stadium in the early stages.

But all they missed was United being completely dominated by Chelsea during a one-sided first half - a first half in which the away side just couldn't find a way though.
