What’s the latest news involving Southampton?
Forster only signed a new deal last summer but could be on the move once the window opens for business in the coming months.
The 34-year-old has played every minute in the Premier League since coming back into the side before Christmas and recently earned an England recall following a number of fine performances.
However, the Telegraph believe that Forster could end his eight-year stay with the Saints, with the club committed to keeping Alex McCarthy despite a thigh problem keeping him out since the beginning of December.
Prior to his period on the sidelines, McCarthy had been Southampton’s number one for the best part of five seasons and looks set to continue his spell at the club’s first choice goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, 40-year-old Caballero could also end his short stay on the South Coast having made just four appearances since his December arrival.
What did Barclay say about Southampton?
He told GIVEMESPORT: “I’m not sure about a rebuild, because there’s a lot of good stuff being done, but adding a few and letting a few go would help. When you look at it, the goalkeepers, at least one of them will go.”

Have Southampton been linked with a replacement?
While McCarthy is likely to be in control of the gloves at the beginning of next season, Ralph Hasenhuttl will still need to sign someone to provide competition and compete with him.
Johnstone has previous experience of playing in the top-flight with the Baggies in 2020-2021, but the Saints face stiff competition from a number of Premier League sides.
The report says Tottenham, Newcastle and West Ham are also in the race, while Sky Sports believe that Manchester United are pushing to re-sign Johnstone, who started his playing career at Old Trafford but never made a first-team appearance.
