British boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has become infamous within the boxing community and has made quite a name for himself - for either good or bad reasons.

This week has been no different with an interview with YouTuber-turned boxer becoming the talk of the internet as he exclaimed his thoughts about Jake Paul’s hope of becoming a world champion.

“Everyone’s entitled to have a dream, [but] I think there’s absolutely no way he can beat a world champion and become world champion.” Hearn said.

Despite his popularity, his net worth is not half as impressive as Paul’s - the YouTube sensation has raked in millions through his fights against UFC fighters Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.

Through his success, he has now established his own label with Most Valuable Promotions. Hearn and Paul have combined forces to promote what has been dubbed the biggest boxing match in women’s history.

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano go head-to-head at Madison Square Garden on Saturday and the pair have shaken hands on a $1 million bet with Hearn backing Taylor and Paul backing Serrano to come out on top.

Hearn’s dedication towards boxing and work through Matchroom Sport has meant he has represented big names in boxing including Canelo Alvarez, Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk to name just a few.

His broadcast deals he has managed to strike with Sky Sports and DAZN increased his net worth which is reported, per Daily Star, to be around £45 million.

Although impressive, Hearn’s figure is outweighed by Paul’s overshadowing net wealth. Boxing alone, Paul has reportedly banked an estimated total of £32 million.

Eddie Hearn has been embroiled in arguments with Jake Paul this week

The addition of his supplemented brand, sponsorship deals and his cryptocurrency and NFT investments take his amounted total to way beyond the £80 million mark, which is incredibly awe-inspiring for the 25-year-old.

With them putting things beside and working alongside each other, their net worths will only increase as popularity around boxing as a sport continues to rise. Hearn and the rest of boxing have Jake Paul and co to thank for this.
