Arsenal picked up a huge three points in their Premier League clash against West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

After Tottenham beat Leicester earlier in the day, Arsenal needed a victory at the London Stadium to retake fourth spot.

And that's exactly what they did as they secured a narrow victory.

Rob Holding gave Arsenal the lead, only for Jarrod Bowen to restore parity shortly before half-time.

Gabriel's header gave Arsenal the advantage once again just after the break and they held on to claim the win.

It was a memorable day for Holding.

The English defender was given a chance to start after an injury to Ben White.

And he managed to notch his first ever Premier League goal in the 38th minute when he headed past Lukasz Fabianski.

Holding has waited a long time to net his first goal in England's top tier, having joined the Gunners in 2016.

He was then savaged by his teammate, Aaron Ramsdale, after getting off the mark.

The two conducted a post-match interview together on Sky Sports and Ramsdale made fun of Holding for getting a hair transplant during his goal drought.

"It's nice to get my first Premier League goal and hope we can build on that now and get some more," Holding said.

Ramsdale then interrupts: "It only took six years and a new hairline!"

Holding let out a smirk and replied: "Come on mate!"

If you aren't sure what Ramsdale is referring to, here is an image of Holding's hair in 2019...

Fair play to Holding for seeing the funny side.
