Jimmy White: 'It's an old snooker club shot'
âItâs the cocked hat double to win the frame,â Eurosport commentator David Hendon said.
âJudd Trump will be absolutely sick. It should have been his. But Ronnie OâSullivan on a re-spot takes the advantage at the interval. What a massive frame that was.â
Speaking in the Eurosport studio, Jimmy White said of OâSullivanâs shot: âItâs called the cocked hat.
âRonnieâs played that if it misses the middle pocket, it [the black] goes to the baulk area [at the top of the table]. You donât often see it played in snooker. It was a great shot to see.â
White added: âMe and Alan [McManus] love this shot because this is an old snooker club shot. Itâs a golf shot that you play on a snooker table.â
