Manchester United could sign Ajax trio Jurrien Timber, Antony and Sebastien Haller as incoming boss Erik ten Hag looks to raid his current employers ahead of moving into the Old Trafford dugout, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.

Ten Hag is currently at the Ajax helm, but it has been confirmed that he will officially become Manchester United's manager at the end of the season.

What's the latest news involving Timber, Antony and Haller?

Timber is reportedly among the names at the top of ten Hag's shortlist ahead of the transfer window reopening for business in the summer.

The £27million-rated central defender may only be 20 years old, but he has already been selected by his fellow Dutchman on 72 occasions.

Antony is another Ajax star ten Hag is eager to be reunited with in the red half of Manchester, with The Sun revealing the Brazil international is being targeted for phase one of the Old Trafford rebuild.

The report suggests the Red Devils would need to stump up in excess of £50million to strike a deal despite Transfermarkt valuing Antony at £31.5million.

It has emerged that ten Hag has also set his sights on luring Haller away from the Eredivisie, with the striker expected to cost £35million.

What has Pete O'Rourke said about the trio?

O'Rourke believes Timber and Antony are among ten Hag's primary targets as he prepares to make the switch to Manchester United.

However, the journalist has not ruled out the possibility of Haller also swapping Ajax for Old Trafford.

O'Rourke told GIVEMESPORT: "Manchester United have been linked with the likes of Timber, the centre-back at Ajax, and the Brazilian winger Antony as well.

"I think he will possibly be looking at both of those players and he has even been linked with Sebastien Haller, the Ajax striker, as well. He might be among Man Utd's targets."

Have Timber, Antony and Haller caught the eye this season?

Timber has been a regular starter at the heart of Ajax's backline, with the Dutchman making 41 appearances and only missing three Eredivisie fixtures this term.

Antony, 22, has shown how much of a threat he can be in the final third of the pitch by registering 12 goals and 10 assists in 33 outings.

Haller may have struggled during his time on West Ham United's books, but the £27million-rated frontman has taken his game to another level under ten Hag.

The 27-year-old has found the back of the net 33 times this season and even grabbed four goals as Ajax comfortably overcame Portuguese giants Sporting in the Champions League group stage.
