Los Angeles Rams fans should be left rather excited following footage that emerged over the weekend about one of their new additions.
This past weekend saw the NFL Draft take place, an event that allows teams to select players that they believe will help them in the future to win a Super Bowl championship.
However, as the Los Angeles Rams have shown us over the years, they arenât really too fussed about the âfutureâ per say, they focus on the present, best demonstrated by the fact they havenât used a first-round pick since their acquisition of Jared Goff in 2016.Â
That was the case this year as well as their first-round selection was given up for quarterback Matthew Stafford last summer from the Detroit Lions, whilst their second-round pick was given up in the middle of last season to pick up Von Miller from the Denver Broncos.
So Rams fans were forced to wait a little bit before they could see who the team was going to be taking, with their first pick of the night being Logan Bruss, a guard out of Wisconsin.
Their fourth-round pick though, Kyren Williams from Notre Dame, might just give fans something to be excited for not just straight away, but also in the long-run.
Filling a position of great need
Itâs fair to say that the running game was not exactly something to cheer about for the Rams last season, as they ranked 25th in terms of yards gained on the ground with 1683, with their top rusher Sony Michel, now a free agent, accounting for just 845.Â

And whilst the Rams do have a great passing game, which ranked joint 2nd in the league with 4800 yards, you do still need to have something of a potent run-game to balance it out and keep opponents guessing.Â
Sparking some life into the position
And based on this footage that the Rams posted, heâs sure to give opponents plenty to think about, as he showed everything you could want from a running back.
The strength to shove off would-be tacklers, a strong hand to stiff-arm some more in the open field, and the pace to get away from anyone who comes near:
If heâs able to replicate this on the NFL stage, then itâs fair to say that the Rams might just be able to become the complete package on offence.
