Triple H celebrated 25 years in WWE during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

The segment took place on the April 24 episode of SmackDown two years ago, which took place at the WWE Performance Center in front of no fans.

At the time, we were right at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, so WWE stopped touring and fans were not permitted to attend shows.

The lack of fan interaction didn't stop the segment from going ahead though, and as a matter of fact, it help make it one of the most chaotic in WWE history.

The segment, which you can see above, has been described by many as one of the most bonkers things that WWE has ever put onto TV.

The segment started with HHH making his way down to the ring, and just as he's about to do his signature 'water spit', one of the production team runs in and takes the water off him.

But trust us, things get weirder from there.

The clip above doesn't even show it, but at one point during the segment, Triple H went to FaceTime Ric Flair, who appeared to be crying during the segment.

Before that, Triple H went to stand next to Shawn Michaels, but HBK pushed him off and told him to maintain "social distancing".

Things got even more strange when Vince McMahon came out, who as well as being WWE Chairman, is Triple H's father-in-law.

McMahon then brought up the infamous 'Katie Vick' segment from 2002, which remains one of the most controversial WWE segments in history.

Vince went on to describe how a "naked" Triple H was in a funeral home, before saying that he doesn't know why 'The Game' "stooped to those depths".

Then the segment... just ended.

McMahon told Michaels and Triple H to wrap up, and then the lights started to go down one-by-one, as crickets then played, then the show just ended.

It was truly, and we aren't exaggerating when we say this, one of the most bizarre segments in WWE history.

The reaction to the segment was absolutely brilliant, and as you can see below, fans watching really did enjoy the celebration.
