Floyd Mayweather is one of boxing's greats.

His impressive undefeated 50-0 record in his career speaks for itself.

One man who inflicted damage on Floyd 'Money' Mayweather, however, was none other than Marcos Maidana.

In 2014, both fighters went head to head twice that year, producing a great display of boxing. With Mayweather narrowly winning the first bout, the second fight was won more convincingly.

Although putting on an impressive performance, Mayweather was severely hurt.

In the third round, the American was trying to survive an onslaught of punches from the Argentinian. Weaving his way out of trouble, Mayweather was struck by a solid right hand from Maidana. Despite receiving many punches in his career, this particular right hand proved to be one of the most significant blows he would experience.

Something flew out of Mayweather's mouth, and it appeared to be his tooth. However, he heavily claimed that he didn't lose any teeth during the bout.

Talking to Fight Hype, Mayweather said: "In the third round, when he hit me with that shot after the bell, it was a good shot.

"It got my attention. It was nothing I never felt before.

"No, He didn't knock my teeth out. Not at all! He's a strong guy, he's a good puncher, but no, as far as my teeth missing, absolutely not."

After such an intense battle in the ring, the drama did not end there, as both fighters continued their feud.

Maidana claimed he kept the tooth to show his brilliance that night. Despite fans and critics doubting Mayweather's claims, he had posted a photo on his social media to prove that his tooth was still intact.

In a more recent video, Maidana can be seen boasting one of boxing's most prestigious souvenirs. Mayweather's alleged tooth is displayed on his unique chain to showcase the severe damage he inflicted on the superstar in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Nevada.

Marcos 'El Chino' Maidana owns one of the most impressive souvenirs from a boxing great. One to tell your grandchildren for sure!
