Osimhen has spent the last two years in Serie A, but a move to the Premier League could be on the cards for the 23-year-old in the coming months.
What’s the latest news involving Osimhen?
The striker has had a fine season in Naples, scoring important goals to guarantee Luciano Spalletti’s side a place in next season’s Champions League.
He has also chipped in with assists, proving that he is more than just a goalscorer.
His performances have attracted the attention of a number of clubs, including Newcastle, but Napoli reportedly value him at £100m, making it clear that Osimhen won’t leave the club on the cheap.
The Nigeria international still has three years left on his contract.

What has Jones said about Man United’s interest in Osimhen?
Jones has confirmed that United are keen on Osimhen, but has hinted that a potential deal could be held up by his price-tag.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT about Osimhen, Jones said: “He’s a really good player, and definitely somebody that’s on United’s radar for the summer. He is extremely expensive. That is a big drawback in terms of pursuing it. He does fit what they’re going to be looking for, though.”
Should Man United go after Osimhen this summer?
Osimhen possesses all the attributes of a top-class striker. Standing at 6 foot 1, he offers a physical presence, and he has shown his aerial ability this season, while he is also technically sound and adept at bringing his teammates into play.
Former United forward Odion Ighalo is a big admirer of Osimhen, previously referring to how he has a “lion’s heart“.
However, his price-tag is concerning. Ralf Rangnick has claimed that United will look to sign multiple forwards this summer as the club looks to undergo a major rebuild under incoming manager Erik ten Hag.
Can they really afford to spend £100m on just one player? It appears unlikely, plus Osimhen has had his fair share of injury problems at Napoli, which may worry United.
Unless the Red Devils can successfully negotiate a reduced fee with Napoli for Osimhen, they may have to look elsewhere as they cannot afford to blow the majority of their budget on one player when they need to strengthen several areas of the team ahead of next season.
