Tottenham manager Antonio Conte could upgrade in every position this summer besides Heung Min Son and Harry Kane, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Conte has already demanded six signings in the summer transfer window, and Jones reckons that the Italian might need players almost all over the pitch.

What's the latest news involving Tottenham?

While Tottenham are engaged in an intense battle for a place in the Champions League, it's clear that Conte is far from happy with his squad.

In the recent defeat to Brighton, he didn't make his first change until the 64th minute despite the poor showing from his side, while against Brentford seven days later, he left Steven Bergwijn on the bench and only brought Lucas Moura on with four minutes remaining.

Furthermore, he's hardly changed his starting XI in recent weeks, with Moura starting ahead of Dejan Kulusevski against Leicester on Sunday a rare case of when he's opted to make an alteration.

Therefore, Jones believes that Conte wants to strengthen his squad in various positions heading into the summer.

What did Jones say about Tottenham?

He told GIVEMESPORT: "I think it's clear that Conte is happy to upgrade the squad in almost every position if he can.

"Nobody should be safe at Tottenham, because they're not good enough, but beyond Kane and Son, no one is safe, so you need to put pressure on these guys and keep driving them forward."

Where could Tottenham upgrade?

The main areas where Conte needs to improve are his full-backs. Emerson Royal has already been linked with a move away from Tottenham 12 months after he arrived, while Sergio Reguilon could also return to Real Madrid this summer and Ryan Sessegnon is yet to hit top form.

Meanwhile, Spurs have little in reserve beyond their first choice back three, with Davinson Sanchez and Japhet Tanganga, prior to his season-ending injury, no longer trusted by Conte, while Joe Rodon has never had a look in.

Moving forward, the report from the Telegraph says that Conte wants two centre midfielders, which suggests that Harry Winks is likely to be moved on, as could both Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele.

An understudy to Harry Kane and upgrades on Bergwijn or Lucas would strengthen Spurs' squad, but Paratici delivering Conte some competent full-backs could go some way to helping the Italian turn Tottenham into a successful side once again.
