The Brazilian first converted inside the penalty area from Karim Benzema's cut-back, before stylishly planting a header past Ederson off Dani Carvajal's cross less than two minutes later.
It was absolute carnage and Rodrygo almost scored a hat-trick in stoppage-time, but Ederson was able to stop him at the third attempt.
So the game went to extra-time and five minutes into it, Real Madrid were awarded a penalty after Ruben Dias' rash tackle on Benzema.
