Video: Real Madrid fans left Bernabeu early and regretted it

Footage posted from outside the Bernabeu appeared to show some of the supporters who’d left early rushing back towards the turnstiles as euphoric fans inside the stadium went crazy. The club’s famous goal music can also be heard in the background.

While some of those outside the stadium would have been ticketless fans and locals just there to soak up the atmosphere, some fans were seen leaving the stadium prior to Rodrygo’s goals, according to ESPN.

And those who did showed why you should always - always - stay until the full-time whistle. You never know what might happen in football.
