Molly McCann's rise to prominence through the MMA scene is a story that is nothing short of sensational. The fighter from Liverpool came through the ranks after studying for a degree at Liverpool John Moores University, supporting the earlier years of her career as a mixed martial artist by working at Subway. That earned her the nickname 'Meatball' Molly, which has very swiftly become a fan favourite name in the fight scene following her steady ascent. Tireless hours in the gym and plenty of fights saw her work through the English MMA scene, becoming a Cage Warriors champion and amassing a 7-1 record before getting a shot with the UFC in 2018.An explosive and passionate flyweight, McCann has a frightening striking game and isn't afraid to take a hit, in order to get at her opponent with big shots of her own. She's proven that in her last two fights in the UFC, defeating Ji Yeon Kim in September 2021 and earning Fight of the Night in the process, and more recently beating Luana Carolina in March 2022 with perhaps the greatest knockout we'll see all year - a sickening, spinning back elbow that went viral and earned her Performance of the Night.McCann and Pimblett celebrate.LONDON, ENGLAND - MARCH 19: Paddy Pimblett celebrates with Molly Mccann after defeating Kazula Vargas during UFC Fight Night: Volkov v Aspinall at the The O2 Arena on March 19, 2022 in London, England. Or perhaps unfortunate, if we're honest.A video posted to Twitter by Robbie himself has gone viral, demonstrating the frightening power McCann has in her leg kicks. In the video, she's tasked with laying one in on Robbie, who literally folds to the floor upon taking the strike. You can watch the incredible footage below.

WATCH: Molly McCann flattens presenter with lethal leg kick

'Was that bad, lad?' is the first thing 'Meatball' Molly asks after sending Robbie to the floor, desperately clutching his leg. We reckon so, Molly, yeah.

You just knew it was going to be lethal from the moment her shin wrapped around his upper leg. Somehow, he manages to get back to his feet after around a minute, but understandably has to clutch a chair for support.

McCann is a seriously bad woman and we want absolutely nothing to do with those kicks, so fair play to Robbie for taking one. Even if it did probably result in him having a dead leg for the next week or so.

Let's hope we see some more of those when 'Meatball' Molly faces off against Miranda Maverick in July.
