Ahead of his highly anticipated return to the UFC, Conor McGregor has taken to Twitter to show his fans his new super heavyweight frame. The Irishman has remained out of action ever since he broke his leg in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier – he is hopeful but not expected to fight again before August.Prior to his injury, McGregor honed pressure on welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and, although unlikely, his increase in weight to 190lb shows he still wants to fight the Nigerian star. The Notorious is certainly notorious at moving up and down weight categories and his most recent stint away from action is no different and his transformation is really impressive. His transformation photo was posted alongside three others of McGregor seemingly enjoying some time off fighting as he posed in his Ferrari. It comes to no surprise that McGregor has enjoyed his break and has ensured he has made it as lavish as possible, recently picking up his £2.6 million custom Lamborghini yacht.

He captioned the tweet in fine McGregor style, showing his arrogance but also his willingness to return to the Octagon.

The tweet read: “Weighting it at super heavy weight bread, the double champ does what the f*** he wants, mystic mac attack, I love the USA. See you soon USA."

He ended the tweet with an American flag.

The social media post has gained traction amongst his fans, but no return date has been set yet.

His return to the cage could see him face Charles Oliveira – a fighter who recently was stripped of his belt as he failed to make weight.

To boost his title hopes, McGregor may opt to fight long-time rival Nate Diaz at welterweight division.

In response to the rumours of a third fight between him and the former two-weight champion McGregor, Diaz shared his views in a tweet.

“I been trying to fight everybody and no go, what’s the hold up UFC? I’m not fighting Conor he sucks. I’ll fight some one quit slow rolling me please, thanks.”
