AEW Women's Championship match confirmed for Double Or Nothing

During a segment on AEW Dynamite, it was confirmed that the AEW Women’s Championship will be featured on the Double Or Nothing 2022 card.

Thunder Rosa came out to the stage on Dynamite to address the AEW fans and talk about the current situation of her AEW Championship reign and gave insight into a woman who is in the centre of her crosshairs.

This was none other than the current AEW Women’s Championship number 1 contender, “The Professor” Serena Deeb. Deeb came out to confront Rosa and the two showed respect to one another.

However, the competitiveness between the two took over almost instantaneously as both women were determined to prove who the best in AEW and women’s professional wrestling truly is.

Recently, Deeb was a guest on Busted Open Radio where she briefly discussed the history between her and Rosa over the years as well as suggested the dream stipulation match she would love to have with Rosa when the two collide.

Deeb revealed that she would love to have an Ironwoman match with La Mera Mera. With Double Or Nothing just three weeks away this dream stipulation could well and truly become a reality as we could have 2-3 segments between the two before they collide in their highly anticipated AEW Women’s Championship match.

Deeb stated that an Ironwoman match with Rosa would be “magical” as they are both “very technical wrestlers”.

Deeb and Rosa’s rivalry became popularised in the wrestling world when the two collided in a series of matches during their time in NWA.

If Rosa was to lose to Deeb at Double Or Nothing it would make her AEW title reign the shortest in the companies history so there is huge pressure on La Mera Mera to defeat the ever-impressive Deeb.

You can watch AEW Double Or Nothing internationally on FITE TV.
