Charlie Adam is going viral on social media after producing a contender for ‘assist of the season’ during Dundee’s clash against St Mirren on Saturday afternoon. But there’s one major problem: it’s an ‘assist’ for the opposing team. The veteran midfielder, 36, dribbled the ball near his own byline before producing a Johan Cruyff-esque turn back into trouble and inexplicably passing across the face of his own goal.Adam’s right-footed pass fell straight to Alex Greive, who made no mistake from close range. It was an absolute gift from the former Liverpool and Scotland midfielder.
