Pele might be the greatest player ever, but you can be forgiven for doubting whether he actually managed to score that.

The Brazilian produced an outrageous first-touch to flick the ball over a defender.

Making his way into the box, he then flicks the ball over two more defenders, keeping the ball in the air the whole time, before lobbing the goalkeeper and then heading into an empty net.

It's unfortunate that no footage of the goal exists anymore as it would surely go down as one of the greatest goals ever scored in football.

But it's impossible to prove the legitimacy of Pele's claims. We're just going to have to take his word for it.
