Manchester City are heavy favourites to win the Premier League following Liverpool's draw against Tottenham on Saturday evening.

The point put Jurgen Klopp's side top on goal difference but meant that City went into their home clash against Newcastle knowing a win would move them three points clear with three matches remaining.

A brilliant way to end what has been a tough week for City.

Liverpool fans would have been praying Newcastle would do them a favour and would have been encouraged with the opening 15 or so minutes.

But just before the 20-minute mark, City got their breakthrough.

Kevin De Bruyne played a beautiful ball over to Joao Cancelo, who headed the ball across to Raheem Sterling to nod home.

It was a massive goal.

However, many believed Martin Tyler's commentary didn't exactly do it justice.

While we wouldn't think about criticising the legendary commentator, many fans pointed out Tyler's lack of enthusiasm at a goal that would see Man City take a giant step towards retaining their title.

Aymeric Laporte added to Sterling's goal before half time to put City in control of the match and the title race.

If they go on to beat Newcastle, they know seven points (two wins and a draw) will be enough to seal the Premier League.

They travel to Wolves on Wednesday before a trip to West Ham next weekend. They finish the season at home to Aston Villa.

City have one hand on the Premier League trophy.
