Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc finished second in the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, but he certainly won the award for best warm-up before the race as he had a kickabout with David Beckham.

The first-ever Miami GP saw the stars flock to the city in their droves, whilst Beckham is a man familiar already with the location given his involvement with football club Inter Miami.

Indeed, he was spotted regularly up and down the grid and in the paddock, whilst he also took time to put Charles Leclerc through his football paces before lights out on Sunday.

As footage shows via Ferrari's official Twitter account, Leclerc looks pretty adept with a football at his feet, with him playing a game of foot-tennis alongside the former England captain and Manchester United midfielder:

All manner of celebrities were at the event of the course of the weekend, from film stars and music stars to sportsmen and women.

Indeed, it appeared as though Formula 1 was getting the most exposure at an event it has perhaps ever had, and that can only be a good thing for the sport as it continues to grow at a massive pace.

The sport will be back in the States for the US Grand Prix in Austin later on this season, but for now it's back to more familiar surroundings in just under two weeks from now as the F1 circus heads to Barcelona and the Spanish Grand Prix.

The title race is heating up as we head to Catalonia, too, with Max Verstaappen holding off Leclerc in Miami to cut the Monegasque's lead in the Drivers' championship down to 19 points.

It's very much game on!
