WWE headed to the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Rhode Island tonight for WrestleMania Backlash, and it was a good night for Roman Reigns.

With this being the first Premium Live Event since WrestleMania last month, WrestleMania Backlash also promised to deliver, with several matches spilling over from the huge show.

On the show, Cody Rhodes wrestled in his first announced pay-per-view match since 2016, sharting the ring with his WrestleMania opponent, Seth Rollins.

Cody's night ended pretty much the same way that it did at WrestleMania, with the 36-year-old beating Rollins in the show's opening match.

The pair delivered a 'Match of the Year' contender in the eyes of some fans, which you can read more about by clicking here.

In another WrestleMania rematch, Bobby Lashley went head-to-head with Omos, but MVP proved to the difference-maker this time.

Unlike WrestleMania, it was Omos who walked out with the win this time, pinning the former WWE Champion in the second match on the card.

In another WrestleMania rematch, Edge defeated AJ Styles, just as he did at the 'Showcase of the Immortals' last month.

However, the former WWE Champion needed some assistance once again, this time which came in the form of Rhea Ripley.

The next match saw Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair share the ring, just like they did at WrestleMania, this time in an 'I Quit' match.

After a back-and-forth match, Rousey was able to get the better of Flair, forcing 'The Queen' to quit after locking her in an armbar through a chair, winning the SmackDown Women's Championship.

In the first match on the card that didn't happen at WrestleMania too, former best friends Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin shared the ring.

The match was won by Moss, who seems to have a bright future ahead for him in WWE, especially now he's put his feud with Corbin to bed.

In the main event of the show, The Bloodline's Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso teamed up to take on Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Riddle.

Pinning Riddle, Roman was able to pick up the win the Spear, making sure there are no doubts that he's the top star in WWE right now.

Below are all the results for the show in full:

  • Cody Rhodes def. Seth Rollins
  • Omos def. Bobby Lashley
  • Edge def. AJ Styles
  • Ronda Rousey def. Charlotte Flair to WIN the SmackDown Women's Championship
  • Madcap Moss def. Happy Corbin
