Edge defeated fellow former WWE Champion AJ Styles tonight at WrestleMania Backlash, thanks to some help from Rhea Ripley.

At WrestleMania Backlash, Edge was given some assistance from Damian Priest, and he also received some assistance tonight.

Towards the end of the match, Priest appeared, despite being banned from ringside. He was then attacked by Styles' ally, Finn Balor.

But, with Styles perched on the top rope, a hooded individual pulled him down, and Edge was able to lock on a cross-face and submit AJ.

The hooded person then made their way into the ring, revealing themselves as former Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley.

Ripley posed with Edge as the crowd cheered, all but confirming that she's joined the Hall of Famer's Judgement Day faction.

Fans have been calling for Ripley to join the group, especially since reports emerged last month, so it's no surprise that the crowd enjoyed the reveal.

The match between Styles and Edge was great, potentially even better than their match last month at WrestleMania.

The finish to the match, given that it wasn't clean again, could set up another match between AJ and Edge down the line.

Hell in a Cell takes place next month, and the story being told would really lend itself to a Hell in a Cell match taking place between the two all-time greats.

Ripley may not be the only new member joining Edge's stable, as reports have suggested that fellow former NXT star Ciampa may also be joining.
