A UFC fan has gone viral after the unknown woman attempted to climb into the Octagon.

The woman, dressed in a plain white top, made a dash for the middle, managing to make it all the way to the edge of the cage, while Charles Oliveira celebrated his victory at UFC 274.

But unfortunately for her one steward clearly wasn't in the mood for playing any games as they stepped in immediately, sending her flying to the floor.

The hilarious video of the young woman being sent flying by security was captured by TikTok user Shriak Sharma.

Popular podcast 'No Jumper' posted it on Twitter with the message: "A fan attempted to rush the UFC octagon before getting thrown to the floor."

The clip has since had almost 12,000 likes, 2,000 retweets - and left a lot of fans in complete hysterics.

Charles Oliveira submitted Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC 274

One comment read: "This is the last place someone should be trying to rush."

And another one said: "She's a legend for trying."

The woman could be seen being escorted away from the cage by security at the end of the clip.

But at least she got to see Oliveira pull off a stunning comeback to submit Justin Gaethje via a rear-naked choke in the first round in the main event of UFC 274 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix.

However she was not the only one to go viral at the weekend.

Michael Chandler also came away with a few extra dollars and a few more fans for his efforts - after knocking out Tony Ferguson with a stunning front kick.

Ferguson initially had some success in the first round.

But shortly after the buzzer sounded for the second round, Chandler landed a gargantuan front kick directly to the chin of Ferguson that shut his lights out immediately.

And those fans who managed to stay awake were also treated to Chandler's wild celebrations after his fight with Ferguson.
