At WrestleMania Backlash, Roman Reigns and The Usos defeated Riddle, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre in six-man tag team action.
The finish to the match saw Reigns pin Riddle in a finish that came as a surprise to fans, with many expecting The Bloodline to lose the match.
And if beating him on WWE PPV wasn’t enough, Roman has absolutely destroyed the former NXT star in a video uploaded to Instagram afterwards.
“Good god it was just filled with future Hall of Famers, well hold up, we have Riddle in there too” 😭😭😭— Wrestle Ops (@WrestleOps) May 9, 2022

In the video, which you can see above, Reigns is in the gym just after main eventing WWE’s first pay-per-view.
He says that he was sharing the ring with several future WWE Hall of Famers, before taking a shot at Riddle, laughing that he’ll never get there.

Riddle and Roman have had their issues in the past, with the latter reportedly landing himself in hot water with WWE officials for comments he made about Reigns back in 2021.
Roman has been in the news lately, with a new worrying report suggesting WWE could be without him for several months this year.
Reigns has been removed all WWE TV shows from June 19 to September 5, so it seems like he’s taking some time away from WWE, which you can read more about by clicking here.
In spite of this news, it’s also been reported that Reigns recently signed a long-term deal with WWE.
So, while he may be taking some time away from WWE this year, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion’s long-term future does lie with Vince McMahon’s company.
