A week after making her first live appearance on WWE TV, Lacey Evans has officially been moved from SmackDown to the Raw roster. Over the past several weeks following WrestleMania, Evans has featured in a series of promo vignettes on Friday Night SmackDown. Each one has been titled with a different chapter as Lacey details her life story and the difficult upbringing she had. The story culminated in the final chapter this past Friday when Evans appeared on SmackDown teasing that a heel element to her new persona.

Following the rerun of the promo videos on Raw last night, PWInsider has now confirmed that Lacey will be moved to the Raw roster and as heel going forward. Despite still being listed as SmackDown talent on WWE.com.

Evans hasn’t competed in WWE since February 2021, when she was involved in the controversial storyline between her and Ric Flair during the feud with Charlotte Flair. She later revealed on air that she was pregnant and took time away from WWE before giving birth to her second daughter in October.

Lacey made her debut in NXT in 2017, competing in the Mae Young Classic before establishing herself as one the main heels on NXT. She was moved to Raw in December 2018 and made her official main roster debut during the 2019 Royal Rumble match.

The 32-year-old has been involved in big-name feuds with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair but is yet to hold championship gold in WWE. She was however, along with Natalya, the first female to wrestle in Saudi Arabia following their match at Crown Jewel in 2019.
