As football fans we cherish nothing more than a serial goalscorer banging them in on the weekly for our beloved club.
It’s the hardest thing to do, finding a reliable goalscorer.
Especially one that can consistently be trusted to put up impressive numbers throughout the gruelling season that is the English Premier League.
So, when that special player does come along, as fans, we always make sure to cherish them.
Over the years we have seen many skilled in the art pass through – Thierry Henry, Sergio Aguero and Alan Shearer are all prime examples.
But who is the record scorer for every existing Premier League club?

For clarification, only Premier League goals are considered in this statistic.

Wow there are some Godly names across that list! And we mean that literally, given Robbie Fowler and Matt Le Tissier - who were both fondly nicknamed 'God’ by their fan bases’ - make the grade.
Yes, Liverpool fans, Mohamed Salah isn’t quite there yet. His tally of 117 Premier League goals for the club leaves him 10 behind the legendary Scouser.
Meanwhile, Le Tissier is rather unsurprisingly way out in front for the Saints. A very respectable 102 goals from the midfielder is nearly double that of his closest rival James Beattie.
The undisputed Premier League king Thierry Henry features for the Gunners. The Frenchman enjoyed eight full seasons in England and rifled home a staggering 175 goals in that time – it’s no surprise King Thierry has been voted the league’s best player in history on numerous occasions.

Shearer was the Hall of Fame inductee to be announced alongside Henry at the awards inception and he also makes the list.
Shearer tops the chart for Newcastle with 146 goals, however, his tally of 112 at Blackburn would also have made him Rovers’ all-time leading scorer should they have maintained their top-flight status.
Of course, Aguero obliterates any opposition when it comes to being Manchester City’s flag bearer.
The Argentine netted on 184 occasions for the Citizens, more than doubling next-best Raheem Sterling’s output of 88. City fans will be hoping that new signing Erling Haaland might be putting that record under pressure in the years to come.
Lampard, Kane, and Rooney make up the rest of the top six sides, none of which come as a great surprise having dominated at their clubs for such long spells.
